When reporting a problem, Copy Diagnostics (also in About) copies a short technical summary to your clipboard that you can paste into your email. Nothing is sent automatically.

Tablet Pro Sound runs on macOS 14 or later and lives in the menu bar. Click its icon in the menu bar to turn sounds on or off, set the volume and choose what happens during meetings. Choose Settings… there for sounds, mouse feedback and everything else.

It works with your Mac’s built-in keyboard and trackpad and with any external keyboard, mouse or trackpad.

To hear sounds while you type in other apps, Tablet Pro Sound needs Accessibility access. The same permission enables global shortcuts, scrolling feedback and keyboard cleaning.

1. Open System Settings and go to Privacy & Security ▸ Accessibility.
2. Turn on Tablet Pro Sound.
3. If it’s already on but sounds still don’t play, turn it off and on again, then quit and reopen the app.

Until access is granted, the menu bar panel shows an “Accessibility access required” notice with a Grant Access button, and you can still try every sound in Settings ▸ Keyboard.

In the menu bar panel, During Meetings chooses what happens while your microphone is in use: Don’t Mute, Duck (−15 dB), Mute The Keyboard, Mute The Mouse or Mute Everything.

The app only checks whether macOS reports the microphone as in use. It never listens to or records audio.

1960 Typewriter, Nostalgia and Classic Mouse are free. Other sounds and collections are in-app purchases, bought once through the Mac App Store and yours to keep. There’s no subscription.

Purchases come back automatically when you’re signed in with the same Apple Account. If one is missing, open any paid sound in the app and choose Restore Purchases.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Turn on Launch at login in Settings ▸ General ▸ Startup at login. The app needs to be in your Applications folder for this to work.

If it says it’s waiting for approval, allow Tablet Pro Sound in System Settings ▸ General ▸ Login Items.

Find it in Settings ▸ General ▸ Cleaning Mode.

• Keyboard & Screens blocks every key and darkens every display for 60 seconds, then ends on its own.
• Trackpad pauses movement, clicks, scrolling and gestures for 30 seconds. Press Esc to finish early.

Click the menu bar icon and choose Quit, then drag Tablet Pro Sound from your Applications folder to the Trash. You can also remove it from System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Accessibility.
